LIVONIA (WWJ) — Police in Livonia are asking for help identifying a man who they say has robbed the local Dunham’s Sports store multiple times in recent weeks.

Livonia police on Sunday shared surveillance footage from the store at the Laurel Park Place mall on Newburgh Road, showing the same man entering the store several times in different clothes.

He is then shown quickly walking out of the store carrying items he allegedly didn’t pay for. In one instance, he appears to be seen carrying Carhartt coats and another time carrying two boxes.

While Livonia police officials have did not say when exactly the alleged crimes took place, the man allegedly stole coolers, clothing and hunting gear.

The stolen merchandise is worth more than $2,1000, according to police.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to call Sgt. Salter at 734-466-2324. Police officials said tipsters can remain anonymous.
