Man and woman on parole arrested during Port Huron drug bust, deputies seized large amount of methamphetamine: sheriff

PORT HURON (WWJ) A man and woman in Port Huron were arrested and arraigned on charges of selling methamphetamine, the sheriff’s office said.

The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office said their Drug Task Force wrapped up an investigation into the sale of meth in a residential area on White Street, near Griswold and 24th, on Tuesday, February 11th.

They arrested the two suspects during a traffic stop.

The Drug Task Force’s search of the location revealed a “large quantity of methamphetamine”— as well as “a large amount” of U.S. money, packaging material and drug paraphernalia.

Both suspects were on parole for previous narcotics charges, the sheriff’s office said.

Chad Hamilton, 34, was charged with four felonies: Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, Habitual Offender, Parole Violation, and Maintaining a Drug House.

Ashley Quant-Neitzke, 34, was also charged with four felonies: Possession of Methamphetamine, Habitual Offender, Parole Violation, and Maintaining a Drug House.

Hamilton was given a $50,000 bond, and Quant-Neitzke, a $10,000 bond.
