Man arraigned on 8 felony charges, accused of shooting up Canton home with kids inside

CANTON (WWJ) - A 22-year-old man is facing a lengthy list of felony charges for allegedly shooting up at Canton Township home, with children inside.

According to Canton Police, the shooting happened Tuesday, Oct. 29, after a fight at a home on Annapolis Circle, near Van Born and Haggerty Rd.


It's allegedly, according to investigators. that Jordon Campbell fired several rounds into the home while several adults and children were inside.

Fortunately, no one was injured, police said.

Campbell was arraigned on Sunday on a total of eight charges, as authorized by the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office:

• Weapons – Firearms – Discharge in or at a Building, 10-Year Felony, and/or $10,000 fine
• Weapons – Firearms – Possession by Prohibited Person, 5-Year Felony, and/or $5,000 fine
• Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, 4-Year Felony, and/or $2,000 fine
• Weapons Felony Firearm, 2-Year Felony
• Weapons Felony Firearm, 2-Year Felony
• Weapons Felony Firearm, 2-Year Felony
• Domestic Violence, 93-Day Misdemeanor and/or $500 fine
• Habitual Offender 2nd Offense

Bond was set at $50,000/personal, with home confinement if he's released.

Campbell's next court hearing is scheduled for Nov. 22, in 35th District Court.
