FARMINGTON HILLS (WWJ) -- Farmington Hills police are investigating a shooting at a gas station.
According to police, victim and suspect — who are known to one another — met at the gas station at 12 Mile Rd. and Orchard Lake Rd. at around 10:30 p.m. Monday.
For some reason, police said, one of the men ended up pulling a gun and shooting the other man.
Police told WWJ's Charlie Langton that both the victim and the suspect waited at the scene for police to arrive.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. He was initially reported to be in critical condition, but is expected to recover, according to police.
The shooter remained at the scene and was taken into custody.
Police are not talking about a possible motive at this time, as the investigation continues.
No names have been released, with expected charges pending.
