(PONTIAC) - Authorities say a Flint man was killed after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the road Friday night.
37-year-old Charles Arnold O'Connor was crossing Baldwin Road in the designated crosswalk around 8:38 p.m. when the Oakland County Sheriff's Office said he was struck by a Ford F-150.
Bystanders were performing CPR on O'Connor when first responders arrived. He died later at a local hospital.
The driver, a 16-year-old girl, was not injured in the crash.
"Speed, alcohol or drug use did not appear to be factors on the part of the driver," a press release from the OCSO said. "It was not immediately known if drug or alcohol were factors for O'Connor. An autopsy was scheduled."
The Oakland County Sheriff's Office Crash Reconstruction Unit is investigating.
