Police in Monroe County are still trying to track down a gunman who shot up a vehicle in Frenchtown Township with six people inside -- leaving an 18-year-old woman in critical condition.
The shooting happened Monday night at the intersection of Stewart and Telegraph Roads.
Police say the gunman pulled alongside a car with six people inside -- including two children -- and opened fire. The teen driver was hit several times and the 17-year-old in the passenger seat was also hit, but received minor injuries.
The other two passengers and the kids were not hurt.
Investigators say this was not a random attack. Anyone with information is asked to call the Monroe County Sheriff's Department at (734) 240-7700.
