(WWJ) Roseville Police are searching for three suspects in an assault, robbery and carjacking.

The victim, a 51-year-old St. Clair Shores man, called police from the Del Taco on Gratiot Ave. north of Masonic Tuesday morning to report the crime.

The man said he'd pulled over in his mini van to help a woman who seemed to be stranded, standing beside a pickup truck that was smoking and appeared to be broken down.

While he was speaking with the woman, described only as a white female with blonde hair, the victim said he was assaulted by two men.

The suspects, described as a Black man and a white man, pulled the victim from his mini van and began punching him. The victim was then robbed of his money and his vehicle was stolen, police said. The woman he'd stopped to help drove it away from the scene.

The stolen vehicle is a Gold 2006 Chrysler Town and Country, license plate DSB8965, with a "Last Supper" decal in rear window. It was still missing late Tuesday, and the suspects remained at large.

Anyone who witnessed this incident, who may have seen the suspects, or who has any information about this crime is asked to call the Roseville Police Department at 586-775-2100.
