(WWJ) A Southfield man has been sentenced to prison time after pleading to charges for attacking two women inside Detroit Metro Airport parking garage.

The morning of May 14, 2022, investigators said Raymond Jackson, Jr., Southfield approached the victim a 45-year-old Ohio woman in DTW's Big Blue Deck, led her to a vacant area of the parking garage, and attempted to sexually assault her.

Days later, he was accused of grabbing a 34-year-old Westland woman and throwing her to the ground. That second assault ended when the woman screamed and fought back, according to authorities.

Jackson was charged with intent to commit great bodily harm, second-degree criminal sexual conduct, two counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct, kidnapping and aggravated indecent exposure.

In an agreement with prosecutors, Jackson pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree criminal sexual conduct, and the other charges were dropped.

As part of the deal, Jackson was sentenced to 3 1/2 to 15 years in prison, with credit for time served.
