DETROIT (WWJ) -- The Detroit Police Department is searching for an unknown suspect who went on a crime spree this week on the city's east side.
The DPD on Friday released images taken from a security camera from a local business that was hit by man, who is wanted in connection with multiple break-ins and break-in attempts at clothing and beauty supply stores.
On Monday, August 14, police said the suspect broke into two clothing stores in the 14100 block of E. 7 Mile Rd. and attempted to break-in to another clothing store in the 14300 block of Gratiot Ave. that same day.
Then on Wednesday, August 16, police said the same suspect broke into a clothing store and a beauty supply located in the 14800 block of Gratiot and attempted to break into another clothing store in the 14400 block of Gratiot.

At this time, police said it is not known anything was stolen during these break-ins.
As the investigation continues, anyone who recognizes the suspect, or who has any information about these crimes, is asked to DPD's 9th Precinct at 313-596-5940.
