ALLEN PARK, Mich. (WWJ) -- A brief police situation came to a peaceful end in Allen Park Thursday afternoon after a man waved a gun at his neighbor.
The situation unfolded at a home near Leet Street and the Southfield Freeway shortly after 2 p.m., police said.
It was not clear what led to the situation, but authorities tell WWJ a man waved the gun at his neighbors, prompting them to call police.
Police were able to call the man outside his home, and the situation was resolved within about 20 minutes when he surrendered peacefully.
No injuries were reported, but the man was reportedly taken to a hospital for evaluation.
It was not clear whether the man will be facing any charges for waving the gun at his neighbors.
Police have not released any information about anyone involved in the incident.
