Metro Airport delays or cancels hundreds of flights due to snow storm
ROMULUS (WWJ) - Officials say people flying out of Metro Airport need to keep an eye on their flight status.
Flight Aware is reporting that over 250 flights have been canceled or delayed due to the snow storm Friday.
There are currently 168 delays for flights coming into or leaving Metro Airport and 86 canceled flights.
All of Metro Detroit is under a winter weather advisory for Friday afternoon to Saturday. Counties in Metro Detroit will see up to 6 inches of snow.
Further north, in Otsego, Montmorency, Oscoda, Ogemaw and Crawford counties, there is a Blizzard Warning. A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the Upper Peninsula and most of central Lower Michigan.
