BLOOMFIELD TWP (WWJ) – Two police departments in Oakland County are asking the community to be on the look out for a pick-up truck involved in a stranger danger incident.
Bloomfield Township and Birmingham Police say on Monday, July 21st, around 1:45 p.m., their officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle.
The resident told officers two men inside the truck motioned to two young children riding their scooters.
The men allegedly followed the children back to their Bloomfield home, in a neighborhood off Maple Road and west of Chesterfield Avenue.
Birmingham officers coordinated with officers from Bloomfield in searching for the truck, but didn’t find anyone.
The pick-up was described as older, and dark in color with an extended cab. No descriptions about the men were given.
Police will continue an investigation in an attempt to identify the men. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248-433-7755.

They remind all Oakland County residents to discuss proper safety tips with their children when they are out without adult supervision.
