Keep your eyes and ears open. Some people in Southeast Michigan may be seeing and hearing F-16 fighter jets in the air this week.
The Ohio Air National Guard's 180th Fighter Wing has announced it will be conducting training flights at night.
These flights usually take place during the day, but pilots and maintenance workers are required to conduct evening operations as part of their overall training, officials said in a news release.
Weather permitting, the flights will start the night of Monday, December 14, and run through the night of Thursday, December 17.
The 180th is based in Swanton, Ohio, which is just southwest of Toledo, not far from the Michigan-Ohio state line.
