73-year-old Detroit woman who went missing for over a week has been recovered, police say

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit Police say a 73-year-old woman who went missing for over a week in the city has been recovered.

Police said Gracie Harris was reported missing after she had not been seen or hear from since Friday, October 18. She went missing from Garden View Circle in the area of Joy Road and the Southfield Freeway.

Her daughter told police her mother has “health issues” and she was concerned for Harris' well-being.

On Nov. 5, police sent an update stating that Harris had been found.

Police did not say where she was found, and no further details about the case were released.
