
BEDFORD TOWNSHIP, MICH. (WWJ) A Monroe County high school football coach and teacher was arraigned on charges related to a relationship with a student.
Christopher Wilhelm, 38 of Toledo, was charged Friday with four counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct-Third Degree, two counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct-Fourth Degree, and one count of Use of a Computer in the Commission of a Crime.
Wilhelm was a teacher and a football coach at Bedford High School in Temperance, Michigan; about ten miles north of Toledo, Ohio.
According to Michigan State Police First District; the charges stem from Wilhelm’s reported sexual relationship with a student in 2022. The student told investigators he had sexual contact with her multiple times on school property, at his home, at a park and at a Toledo hotel.
