YPSILANTI (WWJ) – An Ann Arbor man is dead after a single-car crash early Thursday morning in Washtenaw County.
Michigan State Police were called to the scene along eastbound I-94 near Michigan Avenue in Ypsilanti Township around 1:15 a.m. after reports of a vehicle swerving off the road and into the ditch.
Authorities say 23-year-old Edgar Monta Campbell, Jr., was killed in the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Police officials say it was not clear whether alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash.
