DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit police are thanking Michigan State Police for an assist from their helicopter on a pair of recent arrests in the city.
Michigan State Police shared videos on Twitter showing "Trooper 2" helping bring suspects to justice.
One video shows officers tracking a suspect in a pursuit on Jan. 13, which ended with the suspect's white pickup truck slamming into a building in the area of Prairie and Puritan.
The other video shows the police arresting a suspect in the parking lot of an apartment building after fled a traffic stop and drove at high speeds through residential neighborhoods. That incident also happened on Jan. 13.
Authorities did not disclose further details about either case or whether charges have been filed.
Detroit police said in a tweet "our officers continue to make our community safer each day," and thanks MSP Metro Detroit for their help in tracking the suspects.
