LINCOLN PARK(WWJ) -- Police are investigating after a man said he was shot at on I-75 in Lincoln Park.
Michigan State Police said the incident happened at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday on northbound I-75 near Dix Highway. The driver said he was driving in the construction zone when a dark sedan was attempting to merge into the lane.
The sedan then pulled in behind the victim's truck and followed him until he reached the exit ramp to Dix Highway, officials said.
When the suspect exited I-75, the driver said he heard two large pops.
The truck was hit twice in the passenger door, but no injuries were reported.
Troopers are currently checking the ramp for casings and the truck is also being looked at.
There is no description of the suspect vehicle or the driver.
The investigation is ongoing.
