DETROIT (WWJ) -- Michigan State Police are searching for a road rage suspect who shot at a truck driver on I-94 in Downtown Detroit.
The driver of the box truck called 911 at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon. Another driver had fired two shots at him on the westbound I-94 exit ramp to West Grand Blvd.
MSP arrived on the scene and closed westbound I-94 in order to investigate and preserve evidence.
One shot did strike the box truck, with the bullet found lodged in the radiator. Further canvasing of the area lead police to two shell casings and a bullet fragment.
The victim described the suspect as a black male driving a newer model, white SUV.
After shooting at the box truck, the suspect continued traveling westbound on I-94.
