DETROIT (WWJ) -- Police are searching for a suspect in a shooting that led to the closure of the Lodge Freeway during the Tuesday morning rush.
At around 7:20 a.m. on Sept. 16, Michigan State Police said a 911 call from a driver who said she'd had "an incident" with another driver on Livernois.
Both drivers then got onto the Lodge, before the woman reported hearing three or four gunshots fired.
No one was injured, and the woman said the other driver — who was in a black SUV — just continued on the Lodge after the shooting.
MSP shut down the freeway, while troopers searched for evidence.
All lanes have since reopened.
Police said the suspect was described as a Black male, 30 to 40 years old with facial hair, wearing glasses and a gray hoodies.
