ST. CLAIR SHORES (WWJ) -- Do you know these people?

St. Clair Shores Police have release some new suspect photos as they continue to search for those responsible for a disturbing case of vandalism at a local school.

According to officials with Lakeview Public Schools, school staff were informed about the graffiti — found painted on an exterior, roof level wall of Lakeview High School — the morning of Monday, April 15.

The school district did not specify what the graffiti said, but photos circulating on social media show hateful speech and slurs against Black people spray-painted near the top of the building.

The graffiti was removed the same morning, and an investigation began.

In a statement, Lakeview Public Schools said its central leadership and board members were "deeply disturbed" by the discovery.

There have been no arrests in the case, and police released some new photos on April 22.

District Superintendent Karl Paulson said those responsible should face criminal charges.

"This act of hate and intolerance is unacceptable and will not be ignored. Every student and staff member in our district deserves to feel safe, valued, and respected," Paulson said, in a statement. "We are taking this matter very seriously and are committed to supporting our students and staff as we work to ensure accountability and healing. Once identified, the perpetrators of these actions will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."

Anyone who can identify these suspect, or who has any information that could help police with this investigation, is asked to call Det.Jacquemain at 586-445-5312.
