EASTPOINTE (WWJ) -- It looks like someone's ham went on the lam!
Police in Eastpointe made an unexpected discovery on Wednesday night when they found a swine roaming the streets.
According to the Eastpointe Police and Fire Department Facebook page, the lost pig — who has been dubbed “Chitlin” — was picked up by officials.
The post also reminded residents that pigs are not allowed as pets in the city of Eastpointe.
Chitlin is safe and will be placed in his new home soon.
