DETROIT (WWJ) - Police are asking for help identifying the driver involved in a fatal hit and run on Detroit's West Side.
Authorities say the accident occurred around 1:30 a.m. on Oct. 1 in the area of Grand River Avenue and Patton Street.
An unnamed 29-year-old woman was crossing the street when she was struck by a blue Ford Explorer with gray trim, which then fled the scene, police said.
DetroitRewards.tv is offering a $1,000 reward.
