TAYLOR (WWJ) – The search is on for a man who was caught on video robbing a bank in Taylor.
Taylor police officials say the suspect walked into the bank near Eureka and Pardee Roads around 10:30 a.m. Monday and pulled out a gun.
Authorities released a short video of the suspect, showing him cocking the gun at the counter as he talks to the teller.
The suspect fled the scene in a four-door maroon sedan with no license plate. Officials did not say how much money the suspect got away with.
There are multiple banks in the area. Police did not identify which one was robbed.
The suspect was last seen wearing a blue University of Michigan hooded sweatshirt, a white face mask and glasses.
Officials are asking anyone who recognizes the suspect or knows something about the robbery to call Detective Chamberlain at 734-287-6611 EXT 2011.
