DETROIT (WWJ) -- Police are thanking community members for their help in the case of a missing teen, who has been located.
Detroit police on Monday asked for tips to track down 14-year-old Morgan Nelson, after she went missing over the weekend.
Police said Nelson left her home in the 15400 block of Lauder, in the area of Hubbell Ave. and Fenkell on the city's west side, without permission on Sunday March 24. When she didn't return, her family reporter her missing to police.
In an update provided by the Detroit Police Department on Wednesday, police said Nelson has been recovered and is doing fine, adding: "Thank you for your assistance."
