DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit Police have good news to share about the case of a missing 12-year-old boy.
Police last month said Tramaine Welch disappeared on Friday, May 17. after he left his home on Troeste, near Gratiot Ave. and McNichols on the east side.
He did not have permission to go out, and he was reported missing by his family when he didn't come home.
On June 4, the Detroit Police Department sent an update stating that the boy has been recovered.
Police did not say where Tramaine was all that time, and no further information was released.
