Have you seen Nehemiah? Police searching for Livonia teen last seen on Labor Day

Authorities in Wayne County are asking for help in locating a 16-year-old high school student who went missing over the holiday weekend.

LIVONIA (WWJ) - Authorities in Wayne County are asking for help in locating a 16-year-old high school student who went missing over the holiday weekend.

The Livonia Police Department said Nehemiah Jones, 16, disappeared on Labor Day, Monday Sept. 5. He was last seen in the area of Middlebelt and 7 Mile around 6 p.m.


Jones, a student at Stevenson High School, has not been seen or heard from since.

He is described by police as having light brown skin and brown eyes with short locks in his hair. He stands apporximently 6" tall and weighs around 125 lbs.

Jones was last known to be wearing a blue "Duke" hoodie, black Nike pants, black Champion slides and was carrying a white Nike backpack.

Anyone with information about Jones or may know his whereabouts has been asked to contact the Livonia Police Department at 734-466-2400 or 911.
