DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit police are searching for a man who allegedly assaulted a woman at a west side gas station last month.
Police on Monday released a surveillance photo of the suspect wanted in connection with the incident on Friday, Jan. 26, in the 24700 block of Grand River Ave., near 7 Mile Rd.
At around 11:45 p.m., police said a 39-year-old woman was leaving the gas station (which is equipped with a Project Green Light camera) when the suspect approached and attacked her.
Police said the woman was "physically assaulted," but that she refused medical attention.
The suspect fled in a light-colored SUV, and remained at large as of Feb. 19. He's wanted on a charge of assault and battery.

The suspect is described as a man around 6' tall. He was wearing a black jacket, a black 'Harley-Davidson' shirt depicting a skull wearing a Santa hat, black pants, and black shoes.
