Police seeking gunman who robbed, shot 2 people in Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) -- The Detroit Police Department is asking for tips from the public to help identify and locate a shooter on the run.

The DPD released Project Green Light photos on Wednesday of the alleged gunman at the scene on June 13.

According to police, the shooting happened at 8000 Robinwood, near Van Dyke Avenue, on the city's east side.

It's alleged that the suspect robbed one of the victims. When the victims started chasing after the man, the suspect then shot them both. The shooting, police said, was caught on video.

Police did not immediately release any information about the people who were shot, and there are no details about a possible motive at this time.
