DETROIT (WWJ) -- A new poll out Thursday morning shows Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan with a commanding lead in his re-election bid ahead of the August primary.
The Target Insyght survey of 400 likely voters shows 64% support the mayor, while 15% support former Deputy Mayor Anthony Adams. Another 15% of those polled said they were undecided.
The poll shows that Mayor Duggan's favorability rating is currently at 68%.
Pollster Ed Sarpolus says the survey also shows City Clerk Janice Winfrey is running strong and former state Senator Coleman Young Jr. is leading the poll for a City Council at-large seat.
