DETROIT (WWJ) - Rihanna's lingerie brand, Savage X Fenty, is coming to the Motor City after the business announced on social media that it is building stores in six locations across the county.
In a post to Facebook on Wednesday, the company said it is opening brick-and-mortar retail stores in Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Newark in Delaware, Long Island in New York, and St. Louis.
According to the Savage X Fenty website, the new locations will add to the brand's other retail stores in King of Prussia, Pa., Houston, Las Vegas, Arlington, Va. and Culver City in California.
As reported by The Detroit News, the retail brand appears to be tenants of Crain's Detroit Business and may be coming to the corner of Woodward Avenue and John R in downtown Detroit.
The space is currently owned by Dan Gilbert's real estate firm, Bedrock Detroit, who did not release a statement on Wednesday when requested by The Detroit News.
