DEARBORN HEIGHTS (WWJ) A shooting in Dearborn Heights injured three people.
In a press release; Dearborn Heights Police said officers responded to a 911 call of shots fired on North Brookside Street, in the area of Telegraph and Van Born, on Saturday (January 25) around 1:00 a.m.
When officers arrived, they found one person in the street with an apparent gunshot wound.
Police moved the person to a safe place, and while clearing the area, found two more people who also had gunshot wounds.
All three were rushed to a local hospital. No information was given on their conditions.
Their ages and genders were not released.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances leading to and the motive for the shooting. However, police told WWJ there is no threat to the public.
