Two people are in custody following a police chase Sunday night that stretched from Sterling Heights to Redford Township.
Michigan State Police say it began at about 9 p.m. following a domestic assault and shooting. Warren police spotted the suspect after the incident, police said, and pursued the two men in the vehicle through Oakland County.
They drove into the city of Detroit, police said.
A Warren police cruiser eventually struck the suspect's car, causing it to roll on its side near Beech Daly and Six Mile.
Two people inside the car were taken into custody at the scene. An investigation is ongoing and details about the suspects and the alleged shooting that precipitated the chase are not yet known.
