DETROIT (WWJ) An "accident" at Ford Field after an Ed Sheeran concert left six people hospitalized, fire officials said.

The Detroit Fire Department (DFD) said crews provided triage support due to "multiple injuries" following the incident in the late evening of Saturday, August 29.

According to DFD, Superior Ambulance (who was on site staffing the event) transferred two of the people to the hospital. Detroit EMS took the other four. All of the injured are adults.

Two patients are listed in serious condition and four are in stable condition. None of the injuries are life-threatening, DFD said.

According to WXYZ, the incident took place in the stadium's vehicle tunnel. It's not clear if cars were involved.

WWJ Newsradio 950 has reached out to Ford Field for a statement.
