PITTSFIELD (WWJ) -- A small plane made an emergency landing in a bean field at an Ann Arbor airport over the weekend.

Just before 3 p.m. on Sunday, first responders were called to the Ann Arbor Municipal Airport for a potential plane crash.

Arriving at the scene, officials found the Cessna152 -- a two-seat, single-engine plane -- in a bean field on airport property.

It was determined that the plane had not crashed. Shortly after takeoff, the plane had lost power, and the pilot was forced to make an emergency landing.

Neither of the plane's occupants were injured, and there did not appear to be any further damage to the aircraft.

Local police reported the incident to the Federal Aviation Administration.
