(WWJ) Forecasters say there's going to be some snow coming down on metro Detroit Monday night — with some sleet or freezing rain mixed in at times — as winter just doesn't seem to want to quit.

The snow is not expected to accumulate, but there is concern about slick and dicey road conditions overnight and into the early morning hours on Tuesday.

"Untreated roads and sidewalks could develop some icy spots as the night goes on; we'll see a low down to 32," said WWJ AccuWeather Meteorologist Brian Thompson.

"Watch for slick spots early tomorrow," he added. "but most of the day will be fine, with temperatures above freezing. We're heading up to a high of 47, with clouds and a shower or two, mainly in the morning."

While it will remain chilly most of this week, there's good news not too far ahead if you're dreaming of warmer, more spring-like weather.

Next week's forecast boasts plenty of sunshine and temps reaching up into the 60s.
