
SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) Southfield Police are searching for a young woman who has been missing for a week.
Police said Payton Ferrell was last seen in the area of Lahser and Northwestern Highway on April 19, around 11:30 a.m., when she got out of a car and walked away.
Ferrell, 28, is described as 5', 145 lbs. with brown eyes and waist length red and black braids. According to police, she has been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia.
She was wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt, red t-shirt, black leggings and white Nike shoes at the time of her disappearance.
