State Police looking for driver who hit bicyclist on 34 Mile Road

The injured victim has no recollection of the incident

(WWJ) Michigan State Police are seeking information about a crash involving a bicyclist in northern Macomb County.

The apparent hit-and-run happened Wednesday night along 34 Mile Rd., just east of M-53, in Bruce Township.

According to MSP, a man was riding his bike on 34 Mile at around 8:40 p.m., when he was struck by an unknown vehicle.

He was taken to Troy Beaumont Hospital where he was admitted for treatment of non life-threatening injuries, police said.

The driver involved was not at the scene when first responders arrived, and there is no description of the suspect vehicle at this time.

Police said the cyclist has no recollection of the incident.
