(WWJ) A suspected peeping Tom has been arrested in Harper Woods.

An alert put out to residents Tuesday afternoon says Marquis Dwayne Fleming, a 43-year-old Detroit resident, was arraigned Monday in 32-A District Court on charges of surveilling an unclothed person and disorderly person-window peeper.

Police arrested Fleming early Sunday morning while he was standing on the victim's air conditioning unit and looking through a bedroom window at a home in the 20600 block of Elkhart Street.

The resident spotted Fleming on her surveillance system in her backyard around 1:50 a.m. and called police.

Police say Fleming was on bond and wearing a GPS tether for a similar incident in a neighboring city. Detectives are investigating similar incidents in Harper Woods that he may be responsible for.

If anyone has any information, please contact the Harper Woods Police Department at 313-343-2530.

Fleming faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
