TAYLOR (WWJ) A search is underway for five thieves who broke into a Harley Davidson dealership in Taylor and stole several new bikes.

According to security footage obtained by FOX 2-Detroit, the thieves crashed through a service door at Motown Harley Davidson on Telegraph between Eureka and Northline just after midnight Thursday.

The store’s general manager told Ingrid Kelley, reporting for FOX-2 Detroit, that the stolen merchandise of multiple 2024, top-of-the-line motorcycles totals about $150,000. The suspects were in the store for less than two minutes, he said.

As the thieves crashed into the building; a bike tipped over and tripped a security mechanism, FOX-2 reported.

The staff and authorities are working to determine the cost of damage to the building.

Store employees have not clarified exactly how many bikes were stolen.
