(WWJ) There were no major injuries, but the parade float-like structure known as the "Trump Unity Bridge" was damaged when the vehicle pulling it crashed into a telephone pole in Flint.
According to MLive, the multi-vehicle accident happened at around 1 p.m. Wednesday, at the intersection of Dort Highway and Court Street.

Cortis told MLive that he was on his way home from an event in Gaylord opposing school mask mandates, when another driver ran a red light, causing the wreck.
The latter detail was not immediately confirmed by police.
The Unity Bridge — carrying signs with slogans including "Lock Her Up," "Build The Wall," and "Make America Great Again" — for years now has been a well-known sight in Michigan, and at pro-Trump events and protests all across the country.
This is at least the second time the Unity Bridge has been involved in a crash.
In August of 2020, a man who stole the bridge while it was parked outside a hotel in Tulsa, Oklahoma, smashed it into a median while being pursued by police.
