DETROIT (WWJ) -- Do you know who drives this car?

The Detroit Police Department is hoping someone in the public will come forward with information about the person who critically injured a teenager last fall — and still hasn't been caught.

The incident happened on October 25, 2022, along Joy Rd. near Stahelin, west of Southfield Rd.on Detroit's west side.

According to investigators, a 17-year-old boy was skateboarding when he was struck from behind by an unknown suspect driving a dark-colored Dodge Charger with tinted windows.

Police said suspect didn't stop at the scene of the crash, and just drove away.

The young victim was taken by EMS to a local hospital where he was listed in critical condition.

With no arrests now several months after the fact, the DPD is hoping a tip could lead to a break in the case.

Through the city program Detroit Rewards TV, in partnership with Crime Stoppers, a $500 cash reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.

Anyone who can identify the driver of this suspect vehicle is asked to make an 100% anonymous tip by call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK UP (800-773-2587), or you can submit an anonymous tip online at this link.

The case number must be included in your tip: 2210260369.
