DETROIT (WWJ) -- The Detroit Police Department has released a photo of suspect they're searching for in connection with a deadly shooting back in May, on the city's east side,
According to investigators, the victim — a 31-year-old man — was getting out of his car in the 18600 block of W. Chicago, just east of the Southfield Freeway, at around 8:10 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2023.
That's .when the suspect approached the victim and fatally shot him.
Police did not say whether it's believe the victim was targeted, or if this was a robbery, a random shooting, or what the motive might have been.
The image of the shooter, taken from surveliene video in the area, does not provide a good look at the suspect's face.
