WARREN (WWJ) -- Detroit and Warren police officers are searching for four suspects who are on the run after allegedly breaking into a shoe store Monday morning.
At around 6:20 a.m., Warren Police received a call about a burglary at the Shoe Trap store at Nine Mile and Ryan Road.
When police saw the suspects, the four sped off.
A chase went down I-75 to I-94 where Detroit police got involved. Police said the vehicle was blowing through stop signs and red lights.
The suspects then abandoned their SUV in a neighborhood near Gratiot Avenue and Van Dyke Avenue before they fled.
The search is focused in a neighborhood near Medbury Avenue and Seneca Street on Detroit's east side.
