(WWJ) Troy Police are investigating an attack on a woman that stemmed from a noise complaint at a hotel.
Last Saturday, police said the victim complained to staff at Hawthorn Suites By Wyndham, on Livernois just off I-75 in Troy, about some other guests who were being too loud.
The victim said she'd also knocked on their room door and asked them to quiet down.
Later that evening, at around 8:30 p.m., the victim heard a knock on her door and opened it to see who was there. She said that's when two people came into her room and began to assault her.
Police were called, by the suspects fled the hotel before officers arrived.
There is no detailed description of the suspects at this time, but police said one of them was possibly a 25-year-old Detroit woman who'd rented the room with the excessively noisy guests.
Police did not say how badly the victim was hurt.
Anyone who may be able to identify the suspects or who has any additional information about this incident can call Troy Police at 248-524-3477.
