The Oakland County Sheriff's Department is investigating after a 72-year-old woman was found dead in her swimming pool.
Police said the incident unfolded when they were called to a home on Current, near Hamlim and Adams on Saturday night. Neighbors said they pulled a woman from a pool and she was unresponsive.
The woman wasn't breathing when first responders arrived.
It's unclear how long the woman had been in the pool, but she was transported to the hospital, where she was declared dead. It's unknown if she died from drowning or some other cause.
An investigation is ongoing.
