Police are investigating a shooting that happened outside Walmart at 12 Mile and Gratiot in Roseville at 6:40 p.m. Monday.
Police say it unfolded when a 20-year-old woman was involved in an altercation with two men in the parking lot that ended when she pulled out a gun and opened fire.
One of the men also had a gun so he pulled it out and returned fire. He shot the woman in the foot.
She was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and the men fled in a white Chrysler 300. An investigation is ongoing.
