SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) -- Southfield Police are investigating a shooting that sent a woman to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds Thursday night.
Police said the victim was discovered shortly after 10 p.m., when officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 18000 block of Nadol Drive, just west of Southfield Road.
The woman, identified as 34-year-old Southfield resident, was taken to a local hospital where she was undergoing surgery. There is no update on her condition at this time.
No other injuries were reported.
There have been no arrests. Police said the suspects fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.
