A woman walking along M-59 in Oakland County's White Lake Township was struck and killed Wednesday morning, police said.
She may have been walking to work.
White Lake Township investigators remained on the scene at White Banks Drive during the rush hour, figuring out what happened. Unknown is if the driver who struck her is in custody or suspected of committing a crime.
No information has been released about the victim.
M-59 is closed between Teggerdine and Pontiac Lake Road.
