(WWJ) The search for a young woman who disappeared after leaving home to walk her dog last week has a happy ending.
Detroit police said Latia Rodgers, 22, was last seen by her father at her home on Braile, near Evergreen and Warren on Thursday around 4 p.m., when she left with her dog.
Her family then reported her missing after she did not return home.

They were concerned as they said she lives with a mental health condition.
Police sent an update Sunday evening saying Rodgers was recovered and is safe, thanking the media and the public for their help.
It's not clear where she'd been. No further details were released.
